May 14th - Thunder 22u opens season with a DH sweep:

Thunder opened their season with two wins over the Ottawa Whisky Jacks.
Thunder took game one 9-5. Starter Ryan Ashurst picked up the win with Nico Bolt pitching in relief.
In game 2 Thunder won 6-3 with Chad Cousins on the mound picking up the win backed by Colby Barr in relief.
22u is next in action on May 22nd in Northumberland as they take on the Jacks.
Their home opener is Sunday May 29th when they host the Seaway Surge.

June 5th - Thunder 22u sweep DH vs. Gatineau
The 22u squad hosted and swept a DH against the Gatineau Craftsmen improving their league record to 6-0.
In game 1 Ryan Ashurst tossed a 2 hit complete game shutout.
In game 2 Chad Cousins threw 4 strong innings picking up the win. Nico Bolt pitched 3 solid innings of relief. Riley Orr made two spectacular plays at 3rd.
22u is next in action on Tuesday evening at the Seaway Surge.

June 18th - Thunder 22u sweep DH vs. Bytown Dodgers - Bolt hits walkoff homerun
Game 1-
Thunder took game one 14-4. Colby Barr, Riley Orr and Rourke Fairman shared the pitching duties.
Game 2 -
Thunder won 9-8. Chad Cousins started with Manny Reid and Ryan Ashurst pitching in relief. Ashurst picked up the win. Thunder was down 6 runs going into their last bats. Riley Orr doubled with the bases loaded. Rourke Fairman doubled to score Orr. In exciting walk off fashion Nico Bolt hit a 2 run homerun to give Thunder the victory.

July 10th - Thunder split DH with Kanata Cubs
On Sunday Thunder 22u hosted the Kanata Cubs for a double header at Woodbine. Thunder took game one 9-6.
Ryan Ashurst picked up the win with Rourke Fairman pitching in relief.
Thunder dropped game two to the Cubs 5-0.
22u is next in action at home Sunday July 17th as they host the Ottawa Whisky Jacks for a DH starting at 11am.

July 17th - Thunder sweep DH vs. Ottawa Whisky Jacks - Ashurst & Bolt both with complete game wins.
On Sunday Thunder 22u hosted the Ottawa Whisky Jacks for a double header at Woodbine Park.
Thunder took game one 6-3. Ryan Ashurst used only 71 pitches for the complete game win.
Game 2 saw another brilliant pitching performance. Starter Nico Bolt took a no hitter into the 7th innning.
With no score going into the bottom of the 6th and two outs. Aidan Johnson hit a triple.
Colby Barr followed with an RBI single to put Thunder up 1-0.
Nico Bolt took a no hitter into the top of 7 but surrendered 2 hits and the Whisky Jacks knotted the game at 1.
In the bottom of 7 Connor Bearisto lead off with a double. Nico Bolt followed with the game winning walk off RBI single giving Thunder the 2-1 victory.
