Thunder 18u Select | EOSBA Playdowns Recap
Our Thunder 18u Select squad, coached by Matt McDonald,
battled hard this weekend in Colborne,
finishing the EOSBA Playdowns with a strong 2–2 record and earning
their spot at the Ontario Select Championships.
Thunder opened Saturday with an 8–3 win over the Whitby Canadians.
That victory officially clinched their berth to Provincials.
Later Saturday Thunder secured a 7–6 nail‑biter victory against
the Warkworth North County Knights.
The team has put together a great season, way to go Thunder!
Next stop: Ontario 18u Select Championship August 21–23,
at St. Marys, competing on the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame fields.
