Game Stories:

August 14th - The Bantams finished off the regular season today with 2 wins against Pickering. Game one went 2 extra innings. Chad cousins was the starting pitcher, Jacob Lawson came on in relief for the win. Colby Barr and Jake Cooper scored 2 runs each. Josh Spratt was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI and a run. In game 2 Colby Barr pitched a complete game 5-3 win. Barr also had 2 RBI. Jacob Corby called up from Kingston Thunder Minor Bantams scored 2 runs. Thunder finished the Regular season 18-6 and now play in the EOBA tournament next weekend. 

August 6th - The Bantams swept a double header today at Woodbine vs. the Oshawa Legionaires. Game one was 16-5. Chad Cousins got the pitching win. Jacob Lawson came in in relief. Aiden Johnson went 2 for 2 with 2 walks & scored 3 Runs. Evan Bennett was 3 for 3 with 3 RBI. Game two was 14 -9. Hayden Fowler got the pitching win. Nico Bolt pitched in relief. Aiden Johnson and Colby Barr scored 4 runs each while Hayden Fowler had 6 RBI. Bantams remain in third in the EOBA standings with a 16-6 record.

July 9th & 10th - The Bantams were on the road Saturday for two contests. The first game was in Whitby. Thunder defeated the Chiefs 18-0. Hayden Fowler hit for the cycle
with 6 RBI. Josh Spratt went 3-4 with 2 RBI. Nico Bolt, Jacob Lawson and Evan Bennett combined on the mound for the win.

Thunder headed to Pickering for their next game, and beat the Red Sox 12-6. Nick Leeman was 2 for 3 with 2 RBI. Hayden Fowler and Colby Barr shared the mound duties.

On Sunday at Woodbine Thunder hosted Kawartha. They beat the Cubs 9-7 for their 6th straight EOBA regular season win. The win put Thunder's EOBA record to 13-3 and moved them past Quinte into second place now trailing only Peterborough by 2.5 games. Chad Cousins and Jacob Lawson combined for the pitching win. Highlighted by some great defense by infielders Kaleb Griffin, Evan Bennett, Hayden Fowler and Colby Barr.

July 2nd - sweeps DH vs. Clarington Orioles. In game one Thunder rolled to a 14-2 win. Chad Cousins got the win tossing 5 innings surrendering only 1 hit and 2 unearned runs. Colby Barr and Hayden Fowler had 2 hits each both with a triple and single. Fowler scored 3 runs. In the nightcap Thunder won 18-3. Nick Leeman led the way with 3 hits, 3 RBI, and 2 runs. Cam  Anderson had 4 plate appearances which included 1 hit, 3 walks, 2 runs, and 3 stolen bases. Fowler, Leeman, Evan Bennet and Aiden Johnson combined on the mound duties.

June 24-26 - Bantams host & win Championship at Thunder Tournament ...read more...

June 19th - split a DH vs. Quinte. Royals took game one 9-5 . Thunder bounced back in the second game for a 5-3 win. Chad Cousins was the winning pitcher in the second game . Colby Barr came on in relief and Struck out the side in the 7th inning for the save. Jacob Cooper had a 2 out 2 run single in the 5th  to drive in the game winning runs.

June 11th - sweeps double header vs. Pickering Red Sox. Chad Cousins was the winning pitcher in game 1 with a score of 8-3. Thunder took game two 16-6. Colby Barr picked up the pitching win striking out 7 over 3 innings of relief work.

May 28th - Thunder takes both ends of a twin bill at Woodbine vs. the Whitby Chiefs by scores of 9-3 & 10-0. Chad Cousins was the winning pitcher in game 1. In game 2 Hayden Fowler pitched a no hitter with 14 strike outs for the complete game win.
